This high melt point paraffin wax (melting point range 130–135 °F / 54–57 °C) is a blend of refined paraffinic hydrocarbons designed for hurricane candles, tapers, alcove, and single-pour votives. It enables pronounced mottling when used with appropriate additives. With a nominal melt point of 143 °F (62 °C), it provides sufficient rigidity for free standing forms such as pillars and molded novelties. Recommended pour temperature is 140–145 °F (60–63 °C) for optimal surface quality. Supplied in solid slabs of approximately 10 lb (±0.4 lb) for efficient handling in production environments.

Pigment Orange 38, also known as Graphtol Red HFG, is a yellowish red pigment featuring excellent fastness properties. It is suitable for applications in paraffin wax, propylene oxide, PVC, and rubber. The suggested dose is 2 grams per kilogram for polyethylene and up to 9 grams per kilogram for PVC.
