Equivalent to PVOH5042, Elvanol® 50-42, SELVOL 540, and POVAL 49-88, it dissolves in cold water but benefits from heating or warm water for complete dissolution. This polymer offers high tensile strength, tear resistance, and excellent properties as a disperser and stabilizer.
