Water Soluble Starch
This starch is modified so that it can dissolve in water easily and at high concentration. It is used to make laundry starch and starch-based glues such as those used on the back of the stamps. Starch-based glues are highly demanded due to their safety when handled by children. They are also easily washable if they spill on the floor or on clothing. Yellow no. 5 FD&C lake, provides superior color purity and saturation, oil soluble, water insoluble (but good dispersibility & no aggregate formation), for best results wet in oil before use. Can be used as a yellow pigment in arts and cosmetic/ personal care products. For external use only.
Applications: decorative cosmetic products including lipsticks, nail lacquers & face makeup (in USA prohibited for eye makeup), soaps, bath salts.
Storage: stable when kept in closed container at a cool & dry place.
Description: Color group: yellow (dye content 28%). Organic, FDA-approved, high-purity pigment. Synonym: Tartrazine. Chemical class: Pyrazolone. Water solubility: 20g/100ml.
