Honduran Gum Rosin Lumps (HROSIN) are high-grade colophony derived from the Pinus Oocarpa species in Honduras. This semi-transparent pine rosin varies in color from pale yellow to light brown and contains about 10% natural unsaponifiable matter, which imparts anticrystalline properties to the rosin and its compounds. The product is widely used in adhesives, coatings, chewing gums, cosmetics, linoleum, paints, printing inks, resins, rubber, sizes, and varnishes.

Renowned for its stability and vibrant green hue, it serves as a green pigment in paints, inks, glasses, and ceramic glazes. When used in glazes, Cr₂O₃ creates a range of green shades, including lime green, kelly green, and black. Its green tones can be modified with small additions of other oxides, like cobalt or copper oxide.
