Propylene Glycol (C₃H₈O₂) is a 99.8% pure, USP and kosher-certified liquid with a wide range of industrial applications. Synonyms include 1,2-Propanediol, monopropylene glycol, and methylethylene glycol. This colorless, viscous, hygroscopic liquid is practically odorless and tasteless, making it an ideal solvent for fats, oils, waxes, and resins. It is commonly used in antifreeze solutions, refrigeration systems, plasticizers, hydraulic fluids, and textile conditioners.
