Barium Sulfate

Barium Sulfate (BaSO₄) is a chemically precipitated, high-purity compound widely used as a filler and functional additive in paints, coatings, pigments, plastics, and lead-acid batteries. Renowned for its outstanding chemical purity and narrow particle size distribution, Barium Sulfate offers excellent dispersion properties, high gloss, and low binder demand. Its extremely low chloride content and reduced electrical conductivity (100 µS/cm) make it ideal for demanding industrial applications. With an average particle size of 1.7 µm and an oil index of 13 g/100g, Barium Sulfate ensures optimal performance in various formulations. It is resistant to water, acids, alkalis, organic solvents, light, and industrial waste gases, including sulfur dioxide. Its versatility and exceptional properties make it a preferred choice for manufacturers in paints, coatings, plastics, and batteries.

Chromium Oxide Green (CR2O3)

Chromium Oxide Green (Chromic Oxide; Chromium(III) Oxide)

Chromium(III) oxide (Cr₂O₃), also known as chromic oxide, is an inorganic compound and a principal oxide of chromium. Renowned for its stability and vibrant green hue, it serves as a green pigment in paints, inks, glasses, and ceramic glazes. When used in glazes, Cr₂O₃ creates a range of green shades, including lime green, kelly green, and black. Its green tones can be modified with small additions of other oxides, like cobalt or copper oxide. Chromium oxide green is also used in polishing pastes, catalysts, and as an advanced green pigment for various industries.

Pipette Filler Rubber Bulb 3 Valve (PFBULB1)

Rubber Pipette Filler

The Rubber Pipette Filler is a convenient tool used to release air, draw solution, and precisely release solution from a pipette. It is designed to fill both glass and plastic pipettes safely. This tool is perfect for anyone who needs to dispense precise amounts of liquid in their work or experiments.

Key Features:

  • Convenient and easy to use
  • Allows for precise solution dispensing
  • Works with both glass and plastic pipettes

Instructions:

  1. Insert the top of the pipette in the bottom of the pipette filler.
  2. Release air from the pipette filler by squeezing valve "A" on the top of the pipette filler while simultaneously squeezing the bulb. The amount of air released should be dependent on the size of the pipette being used. More air should be released for larger volume pipettes.
  3. Insert the tip of the pipette into the solution to be dispensed.
  4. Siphon solution into the pipette to the desired level by squeezing valve "S" on the bottom of the pipette filler. This uses the vacuum created in the bulb to draw solution into the pipette. Avoid drawing solution into the pipette filler.
  5. Empty the pipette by squeezing valve "E" on the side tube. This will help to release solution at the desired rate and to the desired level.
  6. It is best to fill the pipette past the zero mark on step 4 (valve "S") and then draw the level down to the zero mark on step 6 (valve "E"). Once the pipette is filled to the desired level, the contents can be dispensed using valve "E".

Cautions: Handle with care. Do not use with corrosive or volatile liquids. Keep away from heat and flames.
