Hydroxyethyl Cellulose HEC 250 HHBR
HEC (Hydroxyethylcellulose) is a nonionic thickener and rheology modifier for water-based products. It is commonly used in detergents, cleaners, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions, paints, coatings, adhesives, and other aqueous formulations requiring viscosity control and stable flow properties. This grade of HEC with designation 250 HHBR offers delayed hydration along with enhanced resistance to biological and chemical degradation. The rheology characteristics of the HHBR grade help provide stable viscosity performance in surfactant-based and industrial aqueous systems. A 1% preparation of HEC250HHBR in water typically produces a viscosity of approximately 3400 to 5500 cps. HEC250HHBR is an off-white granular powder that disperses and dissolves in cold or hot water to form smooth clear solutions with pseudoplastic flow behavior. Chemically, it is cellulose ether modified with hydroxyethyl groups to provide thickening, stabilization, water retention, suspension, and rheology control properties. For cold or room temperature preparation, continuous agitation for approximately 30 minutes is recommended to achieve full hydration and uniform viscosity development. HEC complies with applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration requirements for certain food-contact surface applications as specified in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21. This grade of HEC does not comply with USP/FCC requirements for pharmaceutical applications. Perfect for detergent formulators, coating manufacturers, adhesive producers, industrial manufacturers, and personal care developers.

Sorbitol Powder, FCC/USP/NF
Sorbitol, also known as glucitol, is a sugar alcohol that the human body metabolizes slowly. It is commonly used as a sugar substitute in diet drinks, ice cream, mints, cough syrups, and sugar-free chewing gum. Sorbitol is a nutritive sweetener, providing 2.6 food calories per gram compared to 4 calories for typical carbohydrates. In cosmetics, sorbitol serves as a sweetener, thickener, humectant, and conditioning agent, preventing moisture loss from the skin and hair.
